Electronic Rosin-Based Fluxes

Amerway 400 Rosin-Super Activated (SRA) -- Amerway 400-50 Rosin Flux is an RA type product specifically formulated to be used in difficult to solder applications such as wire tinning.  Heavily oxidized surfaces and difficult to solder base metals such as nickel or brass can be soldered with this product.

Application:  Amerway 400-50 can be applied by wave, dip or brush methods.  If thinner is required, use Amerway 405 Thinner.

Residue:  The residue remaining after soldering is considered non-hygroscopic.  When the residue is not cleaned, it acts as a conformal coating protecting the assembly from moisture.  For critical applications where the highest reliability is required, cleaning is recommended.  Residue can be cleaned with Amerway 900 Enviro-Clean-25 saponification system in water.
