Battery Flux

Amerway 3000 Batter Flux  -- The Amerway 3000 Flux is a solvent based product specifically formulated for high volume cast-on strap manufacturing where rapid evaporation of solvent is necessary at the casting process.  This flux contains no chlorides or heavy metals of any kind which could effect the long term reliability and life of the batteries.

Other key advantages are the wide window of operation at various temperatures and environmental safety. 

The Amerway 3000 flux will not cause corrosion on any of the cast-on-strap equipment.  Whether operating at low temperatures due to strap cracking or high temperatures to accommodate the larger plates, the Amerway 3000 remains consistently active to produce strong burn-in cast bonds.

Uses:  Amerway 3000 Battery Flux provides excellent metallurgical fusing of all lead based battery alloys as may be used in the manufacturing of cast-on-strap process.  Amerway 3000 flux exhibits very low fuming or smoke during the casting process.  The flux leaves a very minimal residue after the burn-in-process.

Application:  The Amerway 3000 Battery Flux can be applied by dipping, spraying, roller or brushing and will function in a closed or open system.  This flux has a long working life in the flux pot.
